Great podcast!

Josh covers very difficult topics with great sensitivity and a bit of humor. I have learned so much, but can only listen to one episode and then need to move on to lighter topics. But, we need to remember these horrible people and the terrible things they did, even if it makes us uncomfortable. So, thank you Josh! Appreciate you and the lessons you bring to us!

Edit: host reminds me of Paul Lynda. Yes, you get a cookie for pronouncing “Makaveli in“ but then you lose your cookie for mispronouncing “psychopathy“. Also Savile is pronounced “sav-ill” not like the barber of “Seville”.

Equal Parts Delightful and Sinister

This is such a fun podcast. Great storytelling that goes beyond simply reading a Wiki entry - stories are researched and interesting and Joshua’s delivery is like no other. I look forward to it every week.

Southern Charm

I miss the South sometimes living in California so far away from sweet home Alabama. This show allows me to enjoy the southern charm of someone who’s actually charming and not the jerk hicks that made me leave! I love the history and funny jokes interwoven in between all the downright scary junk.

Such good friends (snort)

I was delighted with the episode. Allow me a touch of hubris with showing you the “Tomb of the Brothers “ (snort) painting TicTok for an inspiration. What a wonderful story! Let’s see if someone makes a movie about them, they deserve it! Alan Tuning made me cry. That poor, poor man - no one deserved that. I didn’t know about the pediatricians. I’m delighted. Keep going! There’s been new research showing that Emily Dickinson was very much in love with her sister in law. I also, greedily, want an episode on J. Edgar Hoover - he was “Rotten to the Core”

Rotten to the Core

Absolutely love this show and it’s host! So informative and Josh makes me laugh. Wish I had Josh as my history teacher. Hope this keeps going, always excited to hear new episodes.

Difficult not to love the host

Really really talented host, he’s able to walk that fine line between irreverent and funny while also never losing respect or dignity for the subject matter. I found the show because his brother's podcast told me to check it out! I really loved the combined Halloween special and I hope these brothers get together to do more amazing things together 😍 come to my house to hang out and drink wine with me anytime Josh.

Amazing
