Thank you
Thank you for this newest episode about how not to kill your self. Thank you both so much ❤️this is so important for everyone to hear. People who are struggling, but more importantly their loved ones who are trying to help… I’m listening to the book next!!!

He sets the bar!
Justin is the best! Started listening to the Generation Why podcast a while ago and then just started on this one. Justin sets the bar pretty high; he has a great voice and cadence. He has a great sense of humor and can add levity to a topic or situation, but is endlessly open minded and compassionate as well. Sometimes I need a break from true crime, and this is a great alternative podcast! Besides Swindled (sorry Justin, but I mean, Swindled is GOLD), this is my favorite thing to listen to!

I love you Justin!!!!
This podcast is amazing. Justin you are such an incredible man. I love how you offer space for others to tell their story and be vulnerable. You are compassionate and always treat your guests with the upmost respect. I feel very protective of you especially when others comment bad things. Keep doing what you are doing. Your show has helped me in more ways than you could ever imagine. So happy you are back. Update: I am so glad you came back. You are so loved. Thank you for sharing the 72 hour hold episode. I have been down that path so many times. It made me cry and also feel seen.

Five Stars but I cv an't
It's depressing, big tome. It should feel good to know I am not the only one going through this stuff, but I canT take hearing it, too depressing, so O have to inscribe.

Intimate and Important Stories
I can’t say enough wonderful things about The Peripheral podcast! I am so moved by peoples’ stories. I’m also inspired and find so much hope here, despite the incredible trials and tribulations so many of your guests have gone through in their lives. Many of the stories have caused me to think about certain things differently in life - thanks to the courage of your guests revealing some very sad, troubling times in their lives. I am amazed at the resilience these people possess and I find myself living with gratitude and extending grace to people because you truly never know what someone is going through or has been through. Thank you Justin for creating and hosting such an amazing podcast. You are truly an inspiration to me as well!

Gluing The pieces back together
Very impactful! Can you share the last mom’s company’s website.

You help me
Glad you are here —you’ve helped media very real way more than you know. I just want to thank you for living your life in a way that’s so filled with purpose, and that you’ve made a choice to look outward….rather than only Obsessing inward (like so many people do) when you’re looking for answers …and ways to feel better.

On my favorites list
Thank you for the interesting topics presented in a truly down-to-earth manner.

Justin, you’re my Person!
Justin, please don’t ever stop with The Peripheral. It’s so important. I will never not stop what I’m doing to press play as soon as I see that you’ve uploaded a new episode. Thank you for everything you’ve done for me that you’ll never even know about.

Amazing work
Generation why was the first ever podcast I ever listened to, and recently just found out about this podcast and have been binge listening ever since. Justin you do amazing work!

Amazing
I already adored Justin from Gen Why but this show makes me love him even more. I’m a woman and I just feel like we have the best men in the true crime genre. They definitely have our backs. Same here with Justin. This podcast is so honest, vulnerable, raw, healing, just all the feels!! You can hear it in Justin’s voice, whatever emotion he’s experiencing as listening to these guests stories. He’s so compassionate and empathetic that this is just the perfect type of project for him. And you can tell it’s helping these people to talk to him. I could go on and on about how amazing the guests, host, and show is but I’ve gotta get back to listening to it! Listen to one episode and you will understand. You’re a good man Justin! Thank you ❤️ Christie

Excellent podcast
Justin talks to people about the hard to discuss topics in our lives. The things we pretend don’t exist. The latest one, on eating disorders, wow! Really hit home. Just give it a listen. You won’t be disappointed

Justin is Awesome!
My favorite podcaster

My fave!
This is my favorite podcast. Love Justin!!!

Please consider alternatives
12 step programs are like a cult. I’d love to see you promote a science based recovery program like SMART. It would be a huge service to your listeners if you recommended SMART which stands for Self Management Recovery Training. Check out the 13th step documentary. You won’t promote the cult any more. You guys are on the ball (usually), please look into the trouble with 12 step cults.

Love
One of my originals and still a favorite

Binged every episode in a week
I have been a longtime GenWhy listener and when I heard Justin mention he had a new episode of peripheral out, I decided to check it out. Great content that really puts others situations and circumstances into a way that helps others to understand their stories. Sorry for your loss Justin. I can’t imagine how hard it would be to lose someone the way you have but thank you for sharing your story!

Ashley ❤️ I love you for being brave
I am going through a similar situation with a leech. Your story gives me hope and courage. Glad you’re back, Justin. Missed you.

Thank you
Thanks for the recent episode and sharing your experience with your loved one that passed. I’ve been an addict since I was 12 I’m currently 37 and experienced a recent relapse. Now in recovery. I also have mental health issues which isn’t easy as well but much love from a country gal in Texas. Thank you

Love and Hate
I really LOVE this podcast. Cudos you Justin for giving people the opportunity to tell their stories. I don’t HATE the haters, but truly wish that they could take a deeper look at themselves before they post something they may later regret.

Genuine Appreciation
I’ve been a long listener of Justin’s podcast and what keeps me coming back is his understanding of others, the openness he provides for those who want to share their story, and his vulnerability to share his own story. Keep doing what you’re doing Justin.

Where are you?!! Come back! Pls!
This is one of my favorite podcasts now! I have non stop binged the entire thing and I NEED you to come back and give us more!!!! Please!!! While I enjoy Generation Why, if I had to choose between them, this one would be it, hands down! Please please read this review among the many other positive ones and know that we want to hear more! Those trolls you refer to have their own issues with themselves to work out and we are with you! Love this and congrats on your success with both podcasts.

One of the best podcasts
This is an amazing podcast. I have found much healing in some of the stories. This podcast is therapeutic. Thanks for putting it together.

So so good
Such great content- Compelling, Compassionate. So glad I recently found this!

co[me back Justin
Love your compassion

Awesome. Seriously.
If you rate this anything other than 5 stars you are crazy. This show covers great topics in an honest but comfortable way. The host is amazing too. One of my favorites.

fabulous
listened from the birth of this show. sounds dramatic, but as an empath the stories told on here have changed my life.

Love
Entertaining, yes. Super important, also yes. There’s multiple sides to every situation and this podcast lets you hear all of them. It’s so mind opening and human. So so great

Thank you!
I know it’s rough out there. So many keyboard warriors want to drag down content creators for no reason but the satisfaction of being a jerk. So I want to let all the podcasts I listen to know that I love and appreciate everything you create for me (for free!) and please keep up the good work! I don’t know what my life would be like without having interesting facts, reports, and stories to listen to on my commute and at my boring desk job. Thank you!
