One of the best true crime podcasts out there in a large, large sea of true crime. I would put this right up next to Casefile and Crime Junkie. Great research, great audio, perfect delivery. Well done, and as always, anxiously awaiting your next episode.

Amazing true Crime podcast

Justin is a national treasure. His storytelling style is amazing. He respects victims and does not revel in the gore of a story but instead analyzed the evidence and tells a great tale. Loooove this podcast!

i appreciate your efforts to highlight lesser known cases and to avoid sensationalizing them. it’s also refreshing to find a true crime podcast that’s more than just regurgitated 911 recordings. it really reflects your commitment to the subject matter.

True crime must listen

I can’t believe it’s taken me this long to write a review. I’ve been listening since the very early days and it’s only gotten better with time. Justin (the host) isn’t afraid to show the true evil of a crime, but he does so in a way that is compassionate and makes sure to honor the victims, never glorifying the offender. I imagine it’s a fine line, but Justin manages to nail it.

My New Favorite Podcast!

I just started this podcast and I am in LOVE with it. The occasional word gets mispronounced but overall this is an amazing podcast.

One of the best!

Justin is creating one of the best podcasts out there. His storytelling and attention to detail, as well as his research, is impeccable. He covers many little known cases and topics, and it's incredible! He's extremely respectful to survivors and victims in his podcast. Obscura has become one of my favorite podcasts. 5 stars! Recommend to everyone!

The best true crime podcast out there

Ignore the ignorant haters giving this podcast a single star - they are here because Mike Boudet of Sword & Scale released his flying monkeys. 🙄 Obscura is the podcast so many lesser true crime hosts only hope to be. It’s thoughtful, insightful, and comes bearing a humanity seen not often enough in this genre.
